Sandra Jean Pagliasotti Yeats passed away peacefully on March 9, 2021. Sandy was born in San Francisco, CA. in 1941. She graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1959 where she made lifelong friends as a pep girl. While attending college, she met the love of her life Chuck Yeats. They married in Fresno in 1966 and soon began raising their two daughters. Sandy was always a loving wife and devoted mother.
For many years Sandy was an American Sign Language interpreter for Fresno City College. Later she spent her professional career as a receptionist for Channel 47 and greeted everyone with a smiling face. In retirement, she spoiled and took care of her cherished grandchildren.
Sandy is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Yeats.
She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Stephanie Cymanski and son-in-law Eric; and Suzanne Porter and son-in-law David. She was the proud grandma of six wonderful grandchildren, Brenna, Ben, Brooke, Sydney, Kenrich, and baby Grant who resides in Heaven. She is survived by her three sisters, Terry Leas, from Millbrae, CA, Edie Pagliasotti from Federal Way, WA, and Pat McCarthy from Tacoma WA; and family in Washington state and Burlingame, CA.
Sandy will be buried in a private family service under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Home on Thursday, March 18, at St. Peter's Cemetery.
