
After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1934, Seb worked at a grocery store earning $95.00 a month. He studied Pre-Med at UC Berkeley, but, left in 1941 to join the US Army. Upon his return to the states, he received his BA from Berkeley in 1947. He worked with his brothers in a variety of ventures from farming and winemaking to owners of the Blue Fox Restaurant & Bar. He remained active in the Army Reserve until retiring as a Major in 1976. He worked 25 years as Gunner’s Pool Service until retiring in 1996.
Seb was a loyal member of the Fresno Elks Lodge for more than 50 years and was a supporter of Armenian Studies programs and various charitable organizations.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Barbara Gunner-Mazman, her husband Mike and grandchildren Aniah, Kelsey and Michael, his nephews Richard Gunner and his wife Mimi, Kevin Gunner and his wife Valerie, niece Patricia Farinelli and her husband John, several great nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Monday October 29, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at Ararat Cemetery on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Lunch to follow at the Elks Lodge.
