Sister M. Rosaria Gallardo

Sister M. Rosaria B. Gallardo, PDDM, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021, surrounded in love and prayers by her blood sister Mercedes, her niece Theresa, and her religious sisters of the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master in Fresno.

Sr. Rosaria was born Aurea B. Gallardo on March 11, 1932, in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. She made her religious profession in Rome, Italy, on March 25, 1962, and was given the religious name Sister Maria Rosaria. She has served Jesus, the Divine Master, in various roles and many cities in Italy, the Philippines, and the United States.

Sr. Rosaria is preceded in death by her loving parents Mariano and Jacinta Gallardo, her brother Alfonso and his first wife Aurora, her brother Jose, her brother Rufino and his wife Hortensia, and her brother-in-law Paterno (husband of Mercedes). She will be dearly missed by her surviving sister Mercedes, sister-in-law Imelda (second wife of Alfonso), sister-in-law Purificacion (wife of Jose), many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great grandnieces, great grandnephews, and religious sisters.

Requiescat in pace, our beloved Sr. Rosaria.

She will lie in state at 9:30 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at St. Mary Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church, 4636 W Dakota Ave, Fresno, CA.

Interment will follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA
