Hi mom. Went to visit you and dad couple weeks ago. Jim and I,  Sylvia and Frank made a day out of it.   We all miss you so much mom. 
Today, Melissa and I are going to attempt to make your fried chicken….  I’ll let you know what happens.  You know we were never good in the kitchen. Although, I will hv to say that Henry has cooked some good meals for us. 
Thanksgiving will be here soon. Expecting at least 32 people over…..ALL IMMEDIATE FAMILY MOM!!

Happy Mother's Day to our mom who is in heaven. She had a difficult childhood with no real good example of being a mom. But, she used her hard times and the Love < of God to become a loving and caring mother to the best of her abilities. She spoke poetically with incredible love and compassion and I am so grateful. God Blessed us all through our mom. I love you mom, and I love you sisters.

Hi mom. Happy Heavenly Mother’s Day. 💐 Today and ever since you left to be with dad, we hv been gathering  at my house for Mother’s Day. Denise, Aub, Colby, Aubrey, Hailey,  Kennedy , Jim, and Melissa were here for breakfast brunch. It was fun spending the day together visiting all day. Fortunately, both Denise and Aub bought a house just down the street from where I live and Melissa, too, sold her house in Clovis and she bought another house about 3 minutes away.  I couldn’t be happier!!  House sure gets quiet after everyone leaves though!  Sure miss you and wish you were here  Mom.   But I know you’re in heaven with dad and that makes me happy. Love you mom. 🥰💖✨

Hi mom. Today we all contacted each other regarding your birthday. Bet you and dad are having a ball dancing away!  Told dad it was ok for you to hv a big piece of birthday cake since you’re no longer diabetic!!  HAPPY HEAVENLY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!  We miss you dearly and dad too. Good morning mom! Just finished worship service. It’s a beautiful day today. A little chilly but the suns out. No plans for today. 
Last weekend, Melissa, Sylvia, your caregiver, Ofi and I took a road trip and went out to visit you and Pa out at San Joaquin Nat’l cemetery. The new grave stone is in place now. It brought us closure and the message “Love one another” will forever be carried in our hearts.  ❤️ ~abc

Hi mom. Beautiful day today; it’s a  little chilly but the sun’s out. Hi mom!  How happy you must be now that you’re with the love of your life, dad, John Barrios.  We certainly miss you so much. I speak to you often and sometimes catch myself saying things you used to say.

I remember most piling all together on the couch at Grandma’s house. We called it “Family couch,” and Grandma would laugh hard when we were all stacked on top of that little brown sofa.

I also loved making fresh corn tortillas with Grandma. Hot off the skillet with a little butter and salt. I can taste them right now in my memory, and they’ll always remind me of my sweet little grandma.

On my way to San Joaquin Nat’l Cemetery to join Mom and Dad together once again.  Mom, you had a beautiful service last night, United…just like you would have wanted.  The love you taught us was deeply expressed and felt throughout the night.  While on this earth, you made quite an impression and I can only hope that those of us left will carry your legacy to the next generation. 

We love and will forever miss you Mom;  ❤️😘

Soledad  Barrios is the kindest, sweetest, most loving person I have ever had the privilege to know from the day I became a family member and even before during several instances where our paths crossed.   The Barrios family always included me in every family event and it has been an honor to know her and her family all.  She will be missed on Earth but forever with our Lord and her beloved husband, John Barrios.
