Sondra Jean Lewis

Sondra "Sandy" Lewis passed away Thursday morning 5/25/2023 at the age of 79 at Paintbrush Assisted Living and Memory Care in Fresno California. Sandy lived in Hollister California for 33 years with her loving husband, Daniel Lewis. Sandy attended Central Union High School in Fresno, CA and was a majorette, graduating class of 1962. Sandy attended Baton School in Redlands, CA and performed at the 1960 Olympics in Squaw Valley. She went on to attend the Weaver Airline Personnel School in Kansas City Missouri to where she graduated with a degree in airline communications. Sandy took her acquired skills and applied them working for Walston and Company, a member of the New York Stock Exchange. Sandy spent most of her adult life in Hollister California as co-owner with her husband, Daniel Lewis, of Hollister Tire and Battery. Sandy retired from Monterey County Public Works as an Accounting Technician after 19 years. Sandy is survived by her husband Daniel Lewis, her child, Lisa Gavin, Son-in-law, Michael. Sister of Dorothy Salwasser of Fresno CA, Viola Bowman of Los Banos CA, and brother of Michael Yada of Fresno CA. Loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Sondra will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel, 202 North Teilman, Fresno, CA 93706. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sondra's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, cancer.org/dignitymemorial.
