Stella M. Hacnik of Fresno, California passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the age of 90. Stella was born to Joseph and Sophie Michalek on January 25, 1923 in Lorain, Ohio. Stella married Michael Hacnik in 1950 and a year later moved to Fresno. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, in 1983, brother Edward Michalek and sister Charlotte Springowski, both of Lorain, Ohio. Survivors include her son Mike and his wife Dana, sisters Sophie Gattie and Josephine Carr and beloved nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fresno Rescue Mission or the Poverello House.
