Ubense Martinez

Ubense (Ben) was an adoring, hardworking man and was a good provider to his wife and children. He was born on January 8, 1926 and passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the age of 88, surrounded by his family.

BITO WILL FOREVER BE IN THE HEARTS OF HIS FAMLY.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sebera, his parents, an infant sister and brothers Gregorio and Gonzalo Martinez.

Ubense is survived by his children, Alice Borrego and her husband David, Jane Dias and her husband Manuel, Luisa, Armando and his wife Julie, Jaime and his wife Lupe, Leticia Urbano and her husband Paul, and Sylvia Trevino and her husband Edward. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lisa Borrego, Brian Esqueda and his wife Margaret, Stephen Rios and his wife Melissa, Melissa Kent and her husband Brandon, Jared Martinez, Marissa Urbano, Jacob Urbano and Alejandra Trevino. He also enjoyed visits from his great-grandchildren, Gia Rios, Gabriella Esqueda, Christopher Esqueda and Olivia Kent. He is also survived by his brothers, Raul Martinez, Apolinar Martinez and his sister Teresa Moreno.

Visitation will be at the Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Monday, November 24, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Cathedral, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.

Remembrances may be made to donor's favorite charity.
