She was born on September 28, 1943 in Hanford, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Sr. and Simona Guerrero; brother, Jose Guerrero Jr.; and her granddaughter, Danica Rochele Hernandez.
Vera is survived by her husband, Edward Vargas; her two daughters, Daphne Vargas and Rochele Hernandez and her husband Danny; her grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick and Matthew Barriente, Bailey, Logan and Samantha Hernandez; and four sisters, Mary Flores, Alice Rodriquez, Margie Rosales and Jesse Bourbon all of Fresno.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Liturgy will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
