

Vicky was born May 24, 1946 in King City, CA, as the daughter of John and Athena Melitis. Due to an illness of her parents, she moved to Mendota, CA and was adopted by George P. Pappas and his wife Demetra Pappas.
She attended schools in Mendota, graduated from Tranquillity High School in 1964 and thereafter attended Santa Clara University in 1964 and 1965. Upon the sudden death of her dad, George Pappas, she returned to Mendota and served with her mother Demetra as an owner and manager of the Pappas agri-business until 1982, after which she was the owner of Pappas and Mendota Land Companies.
In 1973, Vicky married John Seasholtz of Bakersfield. Vicky and John moved to Fresno in 1974, where they raised their children, Lisa Elgorriaga and George Seasholtz. Vicky and John founded Seasholtz Companies in 1975, farming in Fresno, Merced and in the Hollister area, to the present time.
Vicky was associated with various agri-business organizations up to the time of her passing. She was a member of the Fresno County Grand Jury in 1971, she grew up in the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, was a member and deacon at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, was a member of Cotton Wives, supported and attended the Fresno Philharmonic, was a contributor to the St. Agnes Hospital Foundation and was a member of San Joaquin Country Club. Vicky and John were recently recognized with their companies, as 50 year members of the Western Growers Association of produce packers in California and Arizona.
Vicky was always known as loving, generous, caring, thoughtful and reliable in all aspects of her life, meeting challenges and taking them on. She loved spending time with her family and visiting the California Coast. She and John, together, created many jobs on the Westside, spending her life doing what she loved. Raising her family and producing melon, cotton and tomatoes for over 58 continuous years.
Vicky is survived by her husband, John Seasholtz, daughter Lisa Elgorriaga and her husband Stephen, son George Seasholtz and grandchildren Julia, Ben, Emma and Ethan Elgorriaga and Piper, Arden and Maison Seascholtz. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Mark Seasholtz and his wife Cary of Reno, NV, nieces Melanie Seasholtz, Clara Seasholtz and nephew Jim Seasholtz and their families. She is also survived by her cousin George Pappas of Fresno.
Vicky was pre-deceased by her parents, John and Athena Melitis, her brother Tasos Melitis, of San Francisco and her parents George and Demetra Pappas.
A Memorial Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Wednesday May 25, at 10:00 A.M.
