She was born in Fresno on June 29, 1913, to Manjiro and Uta Doi. She was married to George Nakahara.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Doi, and his wife, Lily; her sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Doi-Cairns; her children, Jeanne Nakahara Leach, James Nakahara, Irene Miyasaki and her husband Donald, Nancy Ibara and her husband, Gary; her grandchildren, Kimberly Miyasaki and her husband Matthew Renquist, Kevin Miyasaki, and Emily Leach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Yukiko was preceded in death by her husband, George and her parents, Manjiro and Uta Doi, her siblings, Marcus Doi, Thomas Doi, Fujiye Doi, Ben Doi, and Esther Campos and her husband Andy, and her daughter, Lillian.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 3:30 pm.
