

Allen was a devoted Husband, father, grandfather, friend and proud Veteran. He lived a life marked by integrity, and quiet strength. Born on August 22nd, 1946 in Saco, Maine, he spent his life working hard to provide for his family, offering love and support in both word and action . Whether through wise advice, or a quiet presence, he made all who knew him feel safe and loved.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon Cassidy, his Sons, Sean Cassidy[Wife, Becky Cassidy] and Matt Cassidy. His 3 Grand children Ryan Cassidy, Rylee Cassidy[Children of Sean & Becky] and Elle Cassidy[Daughter of Matthew], who were his pride and joy and called him Papa.
He also leaves behind his best friend and Brother, Butch Cassidy[His Wife, Gail and their Children, Carrie and Greg] and Sister, Colleen Shover, and Brother James Cassidy, along with Nieces, Nephews, and his beloved wife’s Sharons sisters, Audrey McCue, Maureen Parker and their children, along with extended family.
His legacy lives on in those he met and the lessons he taught—about resilience, humility, and the importance of family. He was proud of his service and his time he spent in the Military and Vietnam.
We will carry his memory in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Allen!
A celebration of life for Allen will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033.
