

He was born on March 24, 1935, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Charles and Atossa Seifert. Chuck attended Norwalk High School, Bowling Green State University, Cleveland State University, and Upper Division SUNY, Utica, NY. He held several management positions in major industrial instrument companies including Taylor Instruments, Barber Colman, Partlow Corp, and came to Texas in 1981 to become a partner in Associated Dynamics Inc. Chuck was the founder and President of M-Systems Technology, I-Tech Inc. He retired from Hathaway in 1999, and then went on to be a consultant for Bourdon-Henni from 2002-2003. He was a senior life member of the Instrument Society of America and Who’s Who in U.S. Chuck enjoyed his career in instrumental controls and lecturing at various engineering societies meetings throughout his career.
Chuck enjoyed traveling with his wife, Linda and spending time on his boat at Cedar Creek Lake, and golfing at Gleneagles. He also looked forward to his Thursday morning breakfasts, each week, with the best friends a man could have. He was friendly and outgoing, and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Seifert. He is survived by his wife, Linda of 36 years; son, Charles Seifert III and wife, Debbie, of Ballston Spa, NY; daughters, Diane Murphy and husband, KC, of Alta, WY and Cynthia Elsenbach and husband, Richard, of Broadalbin, NY; Sister in law Cynthia Altieri and husband Louie and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
