Cung Pham Tran Selfless, Caring, and Loving Wife, Mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, 81, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2022. She survived the Vietnam war and emigrated to the US in 1975 with her husband and children. With a limited command of English, she found work wherever possible to support her family. Even though she struggled with English, she learned a few Spanish words and phrases to talk food with some of her co-workers.
She built a loving home, raised three successful children, doted on her grandchildren, loved making Sunday dinners, and had the most beautiful and abundant vegetable gardens. Friends and families from California to Washington DC loved her cooking and fresh vegetables.
Married for more than 60 years, she is survived by her husband, Han; daughter, Kieu (Eric Rubb); son, Cau (Van Anh Phan); son, Mark (Cindy); and six grandchildren who adored her. She loved Sydney, Delaney, Kylie, Noah, Alex, and Lucas to the moon and back. She is also survived by siblings and many other family members in Vietnam. She was the glue that held the family together and was a connection to family in Vietnam. She will be will missed!
