David Curtis Forchia

David Curtis Forchia, of Frisco Texas, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 19, 2023. He was born on December 8th 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana with a naturally sweet and kind soul. He had a heart of gold, a big smile for everyone he met, and was a joy to be around. David began his career in law enforcement with the Louisiana Harbor Police Department in New Orleans. He then moved into casino and business security positions in New Orleans and Frisco, Texas. He enjoyed many hobbies, but had a real passion for photography, woodworking, and always loved the outdoors. David was a skilled artist who enjoyed designing and creating unique, one of a kind hunting knives. David was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Curtis Forchia, Jr. and his mother Rose Yvonne Gueringer Forchia. He is survived by his loving wife Georgia Caine Forchia, his children Alexander Curtis Forchia and Nikita Kronenberg (Neil), his grandchildren Connor B. and Lydia Q. Kronenberg. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence A. Forchia (Lynn), his sister Margel Forchia Brooks, his nieces Lorie A. Forchia (Jon), and Katherine E. Brooks (Kyle), his great niece Sophia Brooks Law, his great nephew Gabriel Brooks Law, and a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends. David was a dedicated son, husband, father, brother, and friend to many. Our family was not expecting David’s life to be cut short so soon. We are devastated by this huge loss. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide. And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
