Ernest was born in George West, Texas on August 18th,1940. He excelled in his trade as a Master Welder and worked many years on offshore oil rigs. He owned a successful welding company where he specialized in TIG welding as well as ornate metal fabrication.
On January 22, 1973 he wed his beautiful bride, Rebecca and together they shared 50 years of marriage. They built a beautiful life of love.
Ernest is survived by his daughters, Kimberly, Tammy, Kelley and Holley as well as his grandchildren, Brittany & Charles, Sadie, August, Magnus & Soren.
Gentle and sweet he was the quintessential girl dad who taught us many life skills we will cherish always.
He was charismatic and won over the love of many with his charming smile and special twinkle of his eyes.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29th from 6PM until 8PM with Rosary at Stonebriar Funeral Home in Frisco, TX. Funeral Mass will be at 12PM on March 1st at St Rita Catholic Church in Dallas, TX with graveside to follow at 2pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, TX.
