Felicia LeeAnn Haynes (“Flea”) was born on March 14th 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Margaret Ann Goff and Ivy Haynes, Sr.
Felicia accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. She attended Woods Elementary School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and later moved to Boynton, Oklahoma where she attended Boynton Public School. Felicia moved to Enid, Oklahoma with her mother and siblings and attended Enid High School. Felicia was an incredible basketball athlete and loved to compete. Her passion for basketball awarded her a scholarship to attend Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She also attended Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida and completed her studies at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After college, Felicia relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she became a Certified Public Accountant.
Felicia’s pride and joy was her daughter, NaKiyah Arianne Rucker, born June 29th, 2011. She loved her daughter unconditionally and was grateful for every moment that she got to hold her in her arms. Love was redefined the day NaKiyah was born; Felicia made it known that her daughter was her reason for living the most fulfilling life.
Felicia was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Prior to her fellowship with Shiloh, Felicia served as a faithful member of the finance committee at Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church. Felicia also served as an Assistant Financial Partner for the Women of Wealth organization, an investment group focused on fostering educated investments and friendships.
Felicia was most recently employed by Ryan, LLC. Prior to Ryan, she worked for various organizations in an accounting capacity. Felicia was loved by many people and touched so many lives with her genuine spirit. Anyone who knew Felicia knew that she was one of a kind, a true leader who set her own course.
Felicia was preceded in death by her parents Margaret Ann Goff and Ivy Haynes, Sr.; her brother, Pastor Ivy Haynes, Jr.; her sister, Elizabeth Ann Speight; her sister, Callie Landrum; her brother, Felton Wilson; her nephew, Marcus Tyler; and her niece, Jessica Haynes.
