James “Mark” Lorette, age 69, of Plano, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. My beloved husband was born to His mother Stella in San Antonio, TX August 6th, 1953. Mark was a dear son to stella, the relationship and bond they had was something that could not be match.
Mark attended UT Austin studying Business Administration and graduated with honors in 1975. Mark worked as a CFO in several health corporations. Later on in life he took up working as a CPA. Mark enjoyed playing Tennis, playing his whole life. He even got to participate in the senior USTA Texas League and won the tennis championship in 2017.
As a child his cousins, Janet, Diane, Randy, and Mark loved to go to white Sands, New Mexico spending the day sand surfing. They all had many common interest, playing Monopoly was one of those.
Mark and I enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas twice a year. Once to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and another for our birthday trip. This is something we both looked forward to and enjoyed every moment together. He was such a good man and a great husband, he was a special kind of gentleman that you just don’t come across very often. One thing about Mark is he loved food. He was a world class gourmand. He enjoyed many kinds of authentic foods. My Korean dishes were something I would cook for him all the time.
Mark predeceased his wife Yonhui. Memorial service will be scheduled in a private setting at a later date
