Jean Marlene Stevenson Hill
September 21, 1946 – February 26, 2026
Jean Marlene Stevenson Hill, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026. Born in Berrien Springs, Michigan, to the late Bernard and Lylas Stevenson, Jean lived a life defined by elegance, adventure, and a deep devotion to her family.
Jean shared 58 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Kenneth Hill. As a proud Air Force spouse, she supported Kenneth through his career. They lived in Wichita Falls, Texas, for 25 years before moving to their current residence in Frisco, Texas.
Jean was never one to sit still. She had a lifelong passion for riding horses and raised registered Quarter Horses while in Wichita Falls. She passed on her love of horses to her daughter. She had the need for speed, often seen behind the wheel of her signature red Corvette. Her love for the open road led her to become a lifetime member of the Lone Star Corvette Club.
Upon moving to Frisco, Jean immersed herself in social and civic life. She was a dedicated member of the Newcomer Friends of Greater Plano by staying active in numerous groups, like stitching. She served the arts as a guild member of the Plano Symphony Orchestra. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found great joy and fellowship within the Seekers Sunday School group at Christ United Methodist Church. She and Ken were very active members of the Lone Star Corvette Club. They took countless road trips and won many trophies along the way.
Jean was a woman of many talents and hobbies. She was an amazing cook whose meals were the heartbeat of family gatherings. She enjoyed game nights with friends, working on intricate cross-stitching projects, and reading.
Jean is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Hill; her son, Chris Hill, and wife Coral; and her daughter, Kimberly Hill Bailey. She was a proud grandmother to Braden Hill and fiancée Caitlin, and Kaden Bailey, and was recently blessed with the joy of her great-granddaughter, Chloe Hill.
"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." Jean’s vibrant spirit lives on in every rev of an engine, every stitch of a canvas, and every family meal shared in her honor.
