We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of our beloved, Jeline. Her bright light and warm smile left us too soon, but we will always remember her kindness, generosity, and zest for life.
Jeline was born in the Philippines and was only five when her family moved to Melbourne, Australia. After eight years, they moved to Oklahoma, where she lived until she met and married her husband, Aaron. They moved to Texas and lived in various cities around the DFW area until they finally settled down into their dream home in Wylie.
Despite her bleak diagnosis, Jeline fought for fourteen months with courage and tenacity, often saying, “This cancer may be killing my physical body, but it will never kill my soul.”
On the night of September 1st, 2023, Jeline took her last breath surrounded by family.
Jeline was only 39 but she packed an incredible amount of life into those years. She was a skilled rock climber, who inspired many in the community. She was a talented singer and occasional musician. She was a birthing educator who helped many families prepare for natural births. She was a creative soul who put all her heart into her endeavors.
But one of Jeline’s greatest joys in life was being a mother. Her family was the center of her world. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding her daughters and her nieces, providing them with an abundance of love and support.
Jeline is survived by her husband Aaron, daughters Aarilyn and Ava, parents Wilfredo and Daisy, her older sisters Wilette and Liza, her nieces Amelia, Abigail, Rory and Zuzu, her mother-in-law Sherri, sister-in-law Brittany, and brothers-in-law Todd, Mark and Ken.
As we mourn the loss of Jeline, we also celebrate the life she lived and profound impact she had on all of us. Her memory will live on in our hearts and her spirit will continue to inspire us to live each day to the fullest, just as she did.
A memorial service to celebrate Jeline’s life will be held on September 23, 2023 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Stonebriar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, we request that you contribute to her daughters’ college funds in Jeline's memory.
