John Robert Foskey passed from this life on to his eternal home on July 26, 2020 in Frisco, TX. He was born to Fred and Patricia Foskey on November 23, 1958 in East Cleveland, Ohio. John was the middle child of the four Foskey brothers. Growing up in East Cleveland he was always playing sports (baseball, basketball and football), family and friends were amazed at his incredible talent and work ethic which was exhibited in the numerous championship games even the Pony League World Series.

Nicknamed “Fosk”, his family and friends will always remember him as the guy who would drop everything he was doing to go help out someone at the blink of an eye. He was completely selfless. John will be remembered as the funny guy who loved golf, to hang out and drink beer with all of his many friends. John had nicknames for everyone he knew, could go and have a conversation with anyone he wanted to and witty enough to dish out any and all comebacks to anyone talking trash.

John received his Bachelor of Arts at Hiram College in Ohio. He was a regional sales manager in the plastics / chemical industry for over 10 years. He was fantastic at negotiation and closing deals. He travelled all over the United States for years meeting clients, VP’s, and CEO’s to close large contracts in the plastics industry.

When asked where his favorite place to be was, John would respond by reciting his daily routine of barhopping – starting at Twin Peaks then moving towards the Plantation Golf Clubhouse before settling in at home for the evening almost every day. He would end the day with a glass of wine in his long sleeve shirt, pajama pants, and wool socks on the recliner at night.

John had many interests including Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Football, Billiards and Ping Pong. He was a jack of all trades – could instantly become talented and competitive at anything he picked up. His son, John recounts watching his Father knock out 3 point shot after 3 point shot during pickup basketball games at the gym, hitting home runs on demand in his softball league games, and getting to golf with him are memories he’ll never forget.

John enjoyed action movies with Steven Seagal, Jason Bourne movies, Country music, watching Texas Hold’em Poker and Chicago PD on TV.

John married the love of his life, Anita for over 25 years. She blessed him with two sons, Johnny Foskey and Tyler Foskey.

He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Foskey, and his wife, Anita Foskey. His memory with live on through his sons, John Foskey and Tyler Foskey; his brothers, Anthony Foskey, Greg Foskey, Richard Foskey, and Fred Foskey; his nephews, Nick Foskey, Joshua Foskey, Michael Foskey, and Freddy Foskey; his niece, Alex Foskey; and all his close friends at The Plantation Men’s Golf Association.

John was loved while he was with us here in life and will be continued to be loved by his family and friends through time and all eternity. He will be dearly missed.

I can’t believe he’s gone. He was the life of the party, and always knew exactly what to say to make me smile.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We always enjoyed when John would join us for Thanksgiving. His stores and sharp wit were always fun to hear. We were amazed at his knack with adding and remembering numbers. You will be truly missed. Rest In Peace.

Hello Friends, I must say my piece on John. He was older than us AKA ( The Wells Gang) but that didn't matter. When John walked on the ball diamond it was time to learn the game. Me/Fred/Big Sal/Hongo/Boze/Reils/Yatsko/Milan and others became better players for sure. I was bat boy for Paul Serra when John played High School ball. Those were the best years ever for Euclid baseball by far. They would have smoked the 82 team " No Doubt About it". John was the best infielder that I had ever seen. Im talking Omar- lol, but when John came to the plate to hit, I still remember laughing with the whole team because the other coaches would back the outfield up like he was Jim Thome. John could crush it for sure. John's back at the plate again for JC- Trust Me!

Although I haven't seen you since 98, nothing and I mean nothing has ever stopped me from loving you, my brother as well as all my neices & nephews, I can't imagine what you're going through, if you ever need anything give me a call/text.
To my other brother's we need to come together and begin to forgive. I love you all no matter what, memories are not disposable and the good outweighs it all. I hope to come and pay my respect and to grieve with all of you.
