Born on June 20, 1985 and grew up in Germantown, Maryland, Jonathan Vuong Hong lived a life marked by dedication and hard work. He passed away on January 29, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas, where he had made his home and was building a life.
Jonathan was a beloved child of Minh Hong and Muoi Vuong. He took deep pride in being someone they could always count on.
Jonathan built an accomplished career at The Boeing Company spanning multiple roles marked by leadership, professionalism, and a drive for excellence. As a senior manager he was well respected, known for inspiring quality, and ensuring everyone was cared for.
Beyond his career achievements, Jonathan will be remembered for who he was as a person; his intention, his audacity, and the way he showed up for the people he cared about.
Jonathan Vuong Hong is survived by his father, Minh Hong; his mother, Muoi Vuong; his brother, Jeffrey Hong; his sister-in-law, Kathryn Hong; and his best friend, Kyle Travers.
His life ended far too soon. Jonathan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those whose lives he impacted.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Stonebriar Funeral Home, located at 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas 75033.
