

Linda “Lynn” Lee Fowler passed from this life on to her eternal home on February 22, 2019 in Frisco, Texas with her family by her side. She was born on May 13, 1948 to her parents Ken and Phyllis Cassidy in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Linda was the oldest of three children; Lydell and Louise completed the family. They grew up in the Celina area of Ohio.
Those who knew her would say that Linda was selfless, caring, patient and always wanting to help others throughout her life. She earned her Masters Degree from the University of Iowa and went on to share her knowledge as a teacher for 35 years.
Linda loved anything outdoors including planting, gardening, horseback riding, walking and riding her bike. She equally enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Everything in Linda’s life was driven by her passion to help young people learn and to be deeply engaged in their learning.
Her favorite place to be was outside working with animals and her favorite singer was Elvis Presley. Linda was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Celina, TX.
Linda married the love of her life, Tom Fowler and the two were united for 55 years. Together, they shared their lives with their three children; Troy, Holli and Trent.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Phyllis Cassidy. Her memory and legacy will live on through her husband, Tom Fowler of Frisco, TX; her son, Troy and Lucy Fowler of Argyle, TX; her daughter, Holli and Scott Kizer of Frisco, TX; and her son, Trent and Jana Fowler of Celina, TX. Linda’s love of children will continue on with her Grandchildren; Mikaela Leigh Kizer, Kyrsten Elizabeth Kizer, Jobe Michael Kizer, Dodge Thomas Fowler and Skye Lynn Fowler.
Linda was loved while she was with us here on earth and we will continue to love her through time and all eternity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
