Michael David Whittington

Michael David Whittington, a beloved member of the Frisco, TX community, passed away on March 10th, 2023 at the age of 73. Mike was born on June 20, 1949, in Guthrie, OK to his parents Dorthy Pearl (Eakins) and William Arthur Whittington.

Mike dedicated over 33 years of his career to Uhaul, where he served the company with great distinction until his retirement. Mike was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business & English. His education and his work ethic helped him to achieve great success throughout his life.

Mike will always be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family. He is survived by his sons, Jeremy David Whittington, Joshua David Whittington, and Michael Daniel Hamsley, his daughter Kimberley Dawn Crahan, his sister Gloria Scott, and his brothers William A Whittington and Gregory L Whittington.

Mike's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and the community that he so dearly loved. Those who knew him will miss his infectious smile, his warm personality, and his unending love for those around him.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, March 17th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 10375 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033. Following the visitation, a celebration of Mike's life will be held at 5:00 PM.

The legacy that Mike leaves behind is one of love, dedication, and hard work. His family and friends will cherish the memories of their time spent with him, and he will always be remembered as a funny, generous, and loving man. Rest in peace, Mike, and know that you will be deeply missed.
