I thought I was the only one who still clicked this link, but 6 years later people are still wishing you a happy birthday. That says something about the impact you made on the lives around you. Your impact on me was huge. You shifted my perspectives, taught me countless lessons, helped me grow, and were a huge piece of my support system. Knowing you was an honor, and I’m very lucky for the time I got to have you as a sister.

Sometimes I draw something that reminds me of you. I cherish these moments, I fear it is the closest I will ever get to you again.

Few people in my life have been as brilliant as you were. You had a rare soul and a kind heart. I hope you are closer to peace.

I know that you are still with us, in some way, and I thank you for the messages you leave. I don’t think I’ll ever stop missing you.

I remember having sleep overs at Jenna’s house and when we all started working at Panera boot camp together  it was so fun to go through that together  . You were one of the kindest people and most creative I think about you all the time you were a great friend to me and helped me feel accepted I’ll never take that for granted.  I remember meeting you at the mall when you were in 7th grade and I was in 8th it’s crazy to think about sometime I am extremely thankful I met you through Caroline! I swear, you give me little gifts to remind me of the joy in life, or just overall make sense of the world around me, and whether big or small, they're always placed at the exact moment in time I need them most. 

I recently decided to start looking into ESAs and service animals with my current health situation. I knew I specifically wanted a pug, attentive to their human, and full of personality. No bark and no bite. Yesterday, I went to meet Piggy (Yes, that's her name) 

I had sorta scrolled upon her on Facebook. She wasn't even the original animal the post was about, and I had no interest in the animal in the post besides why she was up for grabs. My noisy nature took control as I messaged asking about the dog knowing damn well I wasn't interested. It just so happened they were also getting rid of another dog, a pug. Yesterday, I decided I would go visit it in my free time. 

I told myself that if I loved Piggy, I would have to pick her up in two weeks. Upon meeting her, it was like I found exactly what I was looking for, the perfect mix of my own two dogs back at home with my parents. I wanted to bring her home right there, but knew I had a weekend class from 9-5 Sat & Sun, so I opted to pick her up on Sunday, the soonest I remembered I could dedicate the time for her to acclimate to my home with my crazy, wild schedule.

About an hour after parting ways with her, while doing my homework, I remembered to check the date and fully realized that her gotcha day would be your birthday. The only date I could associate with her was when the owner didn't remember her birthday. Happy birthday, Paige! Only you would give me a gift so kind on a day meant to be dedicated to you. I love you :')

Paige, it’s a day before your birthday and I’m thinking about you and our first ever sleepover. You came over after school, I texted you that day I think to hang out. I was so excited for you to come over. We listened to music in your car, you had such a great music taste and I was so fortunate to bond with you over that. Then we went to my room and drank so, so many Dr. Peppers and watched the original Jackass on my sisters laptop, we had to look away from the screen at some scenes because they were just too much for us at the time, it was so fun! I really wish we got to hang out more. I’ve been thinking about you a lot recently, I just wanted to say that I always looked up to you, you were such a great friend to me. Happy birthday, I miss you so much.

I miss you and I can promise there is not a day that goes by where you aren’t on my mind for at least a few minutes. September has been the hardest month of the year for over half a decade and I don’t think that will ever change. I like to think I spread the kindness you gifted me with to everyone around me. That in  a way, it’ll keep you here with me forever. But there are moments where I wish I could just call you.. that I could hear about the dreams you had that I’m so sure would be coming true, that I could tell you about mine, that we could confide in each other again. And I have hope that one day, however the afterlife works, I get to feel your presence in a way I can’t in this life again. Thank you for being my sunshine, my biggest cheerleader, my best advocate, my forever sister, and the reason I continue living and leading my life everyday. I hope I can touch peoples hearts with your gift to me for a lifetime.

We met as little kids and we stayed in touch when you moved away. I feel so lucky to have known you. I still think about you all the time, you’ve truly shaped me as a person. Every time I pass your old house, I think of all our childhood memories. I miss you so much.

Five years. It’s been five years and to this day I still think about you from time to time, you made me realize that everything in life can be taken away, and although somethings may cause bittersweet memories, that’s exactly what they are memories. Memories that will never be forgotten.

5 years without you. The aftershock of your passing still shakes me from time to time. I hold onto every memory in fear that I’ll lose the sound of your laugh, that I’ll lose the image of you in my mind. I constantly wish I could reach out to you and hear whatever fantastic thing it is you are doing. I always believed in how talented you were.  I used to sit in your room and look at all the trinkets you crafted yourself, look at the purple scarf you used to wear all the time. You still live in my heart and that gives me a lot of peace nowadays. I will always love and miss you, shrimp.

Thinking about you today… you have been on my mind so much the last month. I pray for your family every day

Man I don’t even know what to say except that you are missed so much. You are worth so much. You are loved so much. Over the past 4 years I have looked at your obituary every now and then. Trying to process that this is real. I look and 4 years later people are still posting memories. You meant so much to so many people. You are not forgotten. We love you.

It's about to be 4 years without you in 5 days, time has flown by, but my memories of you still haven't gone away. I miss you Paige, I wish you got to experience early adulthood or have the chance to go to college. I wonder how you would have reacted to the pandemic or all the crazy things that have happened to our friends, I also would have loved to see what art you would be creating by now. Losing you was the start of a very awful period for everyone, we all miss you so much. But you aren't gone, you still live on in our memories and dreams. Thanks for everything Paige. The world is still hurting since losing someone as cool as you.

Life has been a real struggle I sat at the same table with u almost every day u were always happy at least so I thought I was young and dumb I remember us talking at the table the day before u left us and the last thing I said to you was “ think about yourself today you’re your always helping other people “ and I can’t ever get that out of my head you’re vibe is everlasting and eternal 💜 I’ll never forget u I’m so sorry I didn’t see 

You changed my life for the better Paige. In the 8ish months I knew you, you opened my eyes to the world. The kindness you radiated was so genuine. It's the type of kindness that makes you think maybe the world will be okay. I wish I got the chance to know you more, but so grateful for the time we shared. To your family, I know there will never be a day you don't miss her. I cannot even imagine what you all have been through, so I won't even pretend I do. I know it hurts like hell but I want to thank you. You raised such a beautiful spirit. I'm a firm believer that we are not our bodies- we are souls. While her body may be gone, her soul lives eternally. And she is with each and every one of you.

I had the pleasure of being your 5th grade teacher and you were a student I will never forget. Your smile and love your life was contagious to all who’s path you crossed.  The news of your passing is absolutely heart breaking and I pray for your family as they go through such a difficult time. The baseball clock you painted for our classroom back in 2012 still hangs in my classroom today and it will continue to tick for years to come.  It is something I have cherished over the years as you took such a normal item and turned it into a piece of art that will continue to be appreciated by students now and in the future.  Absolutely amazing.

When I first met you when taking the AP U.S History test I remember you being so relaxed, nice, and gave off the vibe of believing in yourself and each other. Then as time went on we crossed paths again and we got to know each other and you were always so kind, caring, funny, understanding, and supportive. You are a genuine person. Stay classy my friend and fly high! 

I want to express my sorrow at your loss. I'm so sorry this happen to all of you whom Paige left behind. Know that she wouldn't want you to carry her entire burden .

Although we were never super close, you were a very beloved friend. I remember meeting you, I remember hanging out with you the first time with a couple other friends (I still have polaroid pictures of all of us from that night), I remember sleeping over at your house one time and playing a fun game with your family. And I remember a few months ago, as I was walking to my car in the parking lot after school, you were there to pick up Branson and popped your head out of the window of a car in the carpool lane, smiled and said hello. I’m glad that happened. I had missed you. 
I wish with all my heart that we were closer, but even just being casual friends with you was a blessing. I was blessed by your beautiful heart, kind smile, wonderful laugh, and amazing mind and talent. I’m praying for you, your family, and every life you had an impact on. Peace be with you. For what felt like forever, you were my other half. We spent every waking moment we possibly could in one another’s presence and every single second was memorable. No matter if we were laughing, crying, fighting, smiling, or just enjoying sitting next to one another in complete silence, time with you was always the best part of my day. You gifted me with a friendship that most people could never even fathom and for that I’m so unbelievably grateful. I was more than blessed to experience not only knowing you but to have been able to be your best friend and neighbor for even a split second. You brightened up my life in ways I could have never imagined. I loved your greetings in the morning and when you waved at me as we passed each other. During junior year, psychology class was always better when you were there and I could see your smile. I admired your fashion and would always compliment you given the chance because I thought it would brighten up your day. Your black nails, awesome shoes, striped shirts, and accessories were always perfect. You were so easy to talk to, and I loved talking to you about art, tattoos, and funny stories. You had the best laugh, smile, and personality that I will never forget. I'll always remember your incredible artistic talent and love for music. You truly are a beautiful person and soul that I love. I'm glad I got to know you, and you will not be forgotten. I'm really going to miss you and everything you did while you were here. I remember when I first met you in English our sophomore year. You pulled out your pencil bag filled with highlighters and I was in awe and told you how impressed I was with your collection. Junior year rolled around and Coach Baggett sat me next to you. And I am so thankful he did. I learned about you and about your family. You showed me inside your world and your passion for metal music and now every time I hear metal music I think of you. I regret not coming to Panera to see you at work this summer. I regret not catching up to you as you walked ahead of me through the back doors to say “Hey! I miss you.” I regret not saying bye to you. I miss you so much and I just hope you’re not in pain anymore. 

 Paige, I was so blessed to be able to teach you. When you would eat lunch in my art class  because it was a safe place, it blessed me. I love both you and your sister. It’s funny how you both have still consistently been in my thoughts and prayers. You are beautiful. You are gifted. You were missed. I will always remember you. ♥️

To the Frugè Family, I no longer live in Texas but sincerely wish I could  be there to remember Paige.  I am sending all my love from Tennessee. 

She was so amazing and so happy all the time. When I was down she helped pick me up and make me feel loved. She was so amazing and I miss her so much. I cried for hours and it hurts me to know she helped me and I couldn’t help her.

I miss her so much as of right now I’m sitting in class next to her empty seat, I have a memory of first block last year when she said another classmate had pulled up to her car on a red light and found her eating noodles with her hands because her fork dropped and for the first few months she was know as “noodle girl” to me and I remember talking about our dreams to open a tattoo and therapy shop together when we graduate we could get people’s art inked on for life while also helping prevent what mental health issue we went through by just talking. Dear Paige, 

The best thing to ever happen to me in high school was being adopted by your art class. I didn’t have to be there, it wasn’t even my class, I showed up just to sit in front of you. To complain about our art while asking each other the most obscure, peculiar, deep questions we could ask about anything and everything and then ask everyone else in the class for their opinions. It always made my day the topics we would choose especially the time we went on about our childhood crafts and camping trips. We got so excited about string telephones that we searched around the room to make one, it went from one corner to the other and we and the class laughed so much we could hardly make a sentence into the cup. Paige, you inspired me every day to be a better artist and a better human, an inspiration that I hold very dear even past my graduation and much so through hard times. Your humility and kindness is limitless, you’re a light that can’t be unlit, rest well Paige.

The past few days have been a whirlwind of emotions. To say you were my best friend is an understatement. From 5th grade to 8th grade, we spent countless hours together. From singing Fabulous from high school musical at the top of our lungs to drinking starbucks like it was going out of style. You were like a sister to me, I could share anything with you and you’d hold my hand and tell me it was okay. I hope I was the same for you. I was apart of your family and you were apart of mine. You’ll forever hold a special place in my childhood, the years I spent growing up was by your side and I will forever be thankful for the mark you’ve made on my life.

Last year, I used to have Paige every day in at least 2 of my classes. That's how I first met her, not only from friends, but also from my English 3 class. We used to sit in class and just talk about life or help each other with school work. And after English we would have Lunch, and we would all sit, with a huge group of our friends, around two tables we would have to put together in order to have everyone sit. Even during 5th block dismissal, I would try to catch her before she got to her car and talk with her about life and how her day was. And sometimes, she would take me home if I really needed to. From the school all the way to my house, we would talk about anything that came to mind, whether it be life or work. Even when we got to my house, if she wasn't busy, we would continue talking and laughing for half an hour before I had to get out of her car. And even this year, when we didnt have any classes together, I would still make it my goal to try to talk to her either before or after school. It didn't have to be much, just a "Hey Paige, how are you doing?" was fine with me, until we would have to rush to our classes or to go home. I wouldve talked to her all class period without question if I was able to. Paige was a special person to not only me, but to everyone she interacted with. For me, she brought a great day of happiness every day of school; it was like she had a positive energy that radiated around her, touching everyone she came across. She was like a sunshine on my day, and to many other people as well. I can't imagine how the family feels right now, I wish I could understand a fraction of the pain you guys feel every day thinking about Paige. But I just want to say that she will never be truly gone. I believe that her sunshine is beaming over us in a different way now, one where she is happy and at peace. She is in all of our hearts, and I hope that by knowing that, it will help you deal with the pain. You all have my deepest empathy and support.

I met Paige our sophomore year, we had chemistry together among other classes. Even though our teacher was terrible, and we hardly learned anything. The two of us were always cracking up about everything & anything in class. To be honest I don’t know if I would have passed that class if it wasn’t for Paige, she was a brilliant minded girl. I was fascinated by her ability to draw, & I was always asking her to draw things for me. I think at one point she gave me her notes because I thought they were soooo pretty.  She was an amazing friend to me the past couple years, & I will forever remember her.

To say that being your art teacher was an honor is an understatement. There are students that come into our lives that impact us in ways that we can't describe, and for me, that was you. I don't think that you ever knew how much you inspired those around you, and that was a huge part of what made you so beautiful. You always had kind words for those around you and you carried a light with you that was infectious. I remember the first time I saw the images in your art journal. I was overtaken by how powerful they were and the amazing gift you had that was blanketed by a genuine humility. I am a better teacher, artist, and human because I had the privilege of knowing you.  I love you sweet girl, and you will be fiercely missed, but never forgotten. 

I remember meeting you for the first time at Freshmen First Day in the cafeteria. I think I was sitting alone, with my schedule in my hand.  You sat down at the same table, and we introduced ourselves. After that I was hoping I would see and talk to you again. I saw you again sophomore year in art class.  
  I loved the day we went on a field trip to Dallas, and rode in an Uber together in awkward silence. I loved the time we decorated the gingerbread cookies you brought. I loved the days we bonded as a class going outside, or making a plastic cup string phone. I loved your art and your smile. 
   I will forever wish that I had talked to you more. I will miss you and the memories. Rest In Peace Paige 💛

You were a big light in my life. You had a beautiful smile and a laugh to match. You always knew how to light up a room and make anyone feel better.  You’re beautiful, kind, and incredibly talented. I’ve known you since freshman year and each moment with you was better than the last. I loved going to art in junior year to talk with you, Kai, and Arabella. Those were some of my favorite moments in junior year. You loved rock music (most importantly Manson) and everything black, your iconic striped sweatshirts, black pants, and vans will never get out of my head. Your Frida Kahlo pins, too. I loved watching you draw, you were so talented. You were a wildfire, Paige Fruge. A sunflower. You were light. I love you and I’ll never forget you. 

I’ve known paige ever since she came to braswell. Her smile was just amazing I even told her she should smile more because when she smiles she can bring a smile to your face even if you’re mad.  She is definitely in my top 3 kindest people I’ve ever met. We had this special hand shake I don’t even know how we came up with it but it was something special and she was something special. It was an honor to get to know paige and share my time and life with her.

I remember ASL with me you and khloe. you always walked in with the biggest smile and we always sat there and messed with the teacher and she’s laughed at us. I remember you would hear me say something stupid or funny and fling a small piece of paper at me and laugh. You always knew what to say and how to put a smile on everyone’s face.

You were something special. Anytime you smiled there was a sparkle in your eyes. I was in a dark time when you found me. Freshman year, no friends. You saw me and gave me a place to go. You will always be one of my close friends. I think that without you my life would have just gotten worse. You saved me. Thank you

I remember meeting you in sophomore year. You always said hello to me in class and gave me a compliment. Your smile lit up the room and I’ll never forget that. I remember when you painted me with the flower in my hair, too. You said I looked beautiful but you were always the stunning one. When you came to my house I’ll never forget that moment of bonding. We were closer from that day on. I will miss you greatly, angel.

I remember meeting you in art class of our sophomore year, and spending time with you all of junior year as well. I remember loving to make you laugh and smile in any way I could, you had the most beautiful smile. You always had a way to make me feel better whenever I was down and you had the biggest heart out of anyone I knew. I’m going to really miss all of our deep conversations , and getting to laugh with you. I love you sunshine, rest easy. 

Paige was always there, always seeming to light up a room no matter how dark or gloomy, and her smile always have comfort in every aspect of every way. She was always supportive of everything, always pushing to help me and a lot of others to do their best and have fun doing it. There wasn’t a time she didn’t have something to be passionate about, and she made sure you knew it when she was. I’m still processing this, but there is truly a strong monument left in my and others hearts by paige, and I could never lose that. A lot of love to everyone.

since the first day i met you when you came here in 8th grade, you’ve always made me smile. to the times we walked in the woods listening to khalid even tho you hated listening to khalid 24/7 with me, to our chili’s dates and our daily quotes we sent each other you’ve always made me smile. i knew a long time ago that no matter what you would always be by my side. the first time i ever met your family i knew how much love you had for them and that really showed me how much family meant. the last time we talked you told me to stay strong. and hopefully i’m meeting you  expectations. i love you beautiful girl.

A gag my friends and I used to have back in our freshman year was “pizza at paige’s” the gag came from us teasing Paige for calling her mom and talking about pizza, so we came up with this joke that Paige was ordering us pizza and there was a pizza party at her house.
On the last day of school Paige gave us great news, she was ordering pizza after school and invited Draven and I to her house.
We spent the afternoon talking, playing games, and eating pizza. This story always sticks out in the back of my mind because it shows how kind and generous she was, she really did care for her friends and loved to laugh/smile, no matter what mood she was in she would always try to be there for her friends and help them out.
The last time I saw Paige we talked about the future and our plans, and she was so proud of me when I talked to her about my ambitions for film, she was so supportive of her friends and wanted the best out of them, Paige said she wanted to be a therapist or tattoo artist, and I was so happy for her, she was happy and ready for the future, I’ll never forget the last moments I had with Paige, she was smiling and was happy to see her friends.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for me Paige, I’ll love and miss you.

Paige, I knew you for 4 years. Every day freshman year we would walk home together and talk about art and skateboarding. I would always walk slow because of how much I loved talking to you. Once you moved from Savannah I was quite torn, but coincidentally I moved to Paloma creek as well. During Junior year I would drive you home nearly everyday, those were some of the best moments I've ever had. We would luagh about modern topics or talk about out favorite music. This year was the first time we ever had a class together, I would look forward to that class every day. Every time you walked in the class, you had this smile on your face that just made me happy and just want to do good things. You would give better outlooks of work and you helped push my grades up by motivating me to do better. I talked to you 3 hours before you passed away, the last thing I ever got to say to my best friend was "see you tomorrow Paigester". I can't even begin to process that a puzzle piece of my life is gone forever. All the times we had at the mall or Halloween, or even pizza at your house are unforgettable. I'm never going to be able to forget how much you positively inpacted my life. Fly high Paige Frugé, and watch over us.

I only knew you for a short time but those times will forever be remembered. I remember no matter how hectic it would get at Panera you always made sure everyone was taken care of,  helped, and had a smile on their face. I didn't know how much I'd miss hearing you say "Bye Titi I hope you have a good night. " It's something small but very impactful because of how much you care for others. I'll always remember your beautiful smile and encouraging words spoken to myself and others.  You were such a kind and loving spirit. I send my most heartfelt condolences to the family. 

Paige always had a way of making my day. Her smile lit up the rooms she entered, as well as bettered the mood of any who spoke to her. The conversations we would have at the end of the day while walking to our cars would always make me feel less stressed about everything and anything. Paige is one of the sweetest, most caring people I have ever met, and I'm still trying to process this tragedy. My condolences go out to her family and those who loved her in this difficult time. Rest in peace Paige, you will never be forgotten. 

Paige you truly were a great person you meant a lot to a lot of people. I will miss your beautiful smile and your laugh. Those days we had in english and algebra junior year will never be forgotten you were great to talk to you made me smile and laugh a lot. We didn’t really get a chance to talk senior year and it kills me inside that we never got to.. I love you Paige you were and still are truly a great person Rest In Peace.💙💙

I remember middle school, in the 7th grade, the both of us always laughing and making jokes in theater always making Ms. Ponsford mad that we were talking. Then in 8th grade at Trent just having fun and enjoying eachother. Those are memories that I will hold onto forever. I wish I could spend more time with her but I know that she is in a better place now. My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to her and her family and I know that she is living a better life up above. 

Jason, words cannot express the sorrow in my heart for you and your family. Your memories of Paige are now priceless treasure. Luv, Aunt Renee
