Raymond Loo, a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Always the brightest of lights, shining with an accepting smile and the warmest of welcomes. An infectious laugh, quirky sense of humor, and strong hug greeted us always. A provider in the greatest way, even in his most precious last moments.
He loved his family endlessly, surrounding himself with us all as much as he could, showering us with love and pride, bestowing upon us his perspective and experience. We will always remember him in our hearts with such gratefulness to have shared life with him. Family is what it was all about. The time together, the shared memories and experiences, the being there for one another at all costs mattered most to him.
Country music was his favorite and led him to the love of his life, Marie. Dim Sum and Chinese Tea filled his belly so often on family Sunday afternoons, followed by a race and a wrestle over who would pay the bill. The frustration of golf filled many days with his cronies although jovial banter and laughter were the real main attraction.
He valued hard work, determination, dedication, loyalty, and staying true to ones word. He believed everyone deserved a second chance to correct their wrongs, and saw only the best in people.
We love you so much, and we are so blessed with the family that you built for us. We are so grateful to have walked with you as far as we could to the gates of Heaven to see you off. Life moves on far too quickly, but we will hold on to you in our hearts tighter than the speed of time could possibly strip away.
