Robert Henry Dietz III

Robert Henry Dietz III, 71 of Little Elm, Texas was born September 19, 1949, in Chicago Illinois to Robert Henry Dietz Jr. and Kathryn Leander Dietz, passed away on August 19, 2021. He married Linda Marie Coburn on January 12, 1980, in Deerfield, Illinois.

Remembered by his love for the produce industry, working beside his uncle Matthew Dietz for 38 years, in Laredo, Texas. Bob sat on the board of the National Watermelon Association for several years until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed golfing and watching his family play tennis. Bob loved his family more than anything.

Proceeded in death by both of his parents and his beloved Weimaraner, Cayman Blue Misty Tide ‘Cuddy’.

Survived by his wife, Linda Marie Dietz of 41 years, and his children, Michael, Robert, and Meagan. He was grandpa to Husky. He was the oldest of five, and leaves behind Barbara, Jack, Matthew, and Katie, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Service Information: Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 2pm – 4pm at Stonebriar Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Frisco, Texas.

“In Lieu of flowers” the family is asking that you donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in honor of his son, Robert Henry Dietz IV, who is battling multiple sclerosis.
