Tina Tran, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 21, 1984, in the same city she called home throughout her life. She was the daughter of Deborah and Anthony Tran, who came to the United States from Vietnam. At 40 years young, she had blossomed into a beautiful and independent woman they would be very proud of. Tina was a vibrant, one-of-a-kind soul whose warmth, wit, and brilliance left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
She had a fierce love for life and embraced it fully. She was a traveler, always wanting to experience different places and cultures. She was a true foodie, not only feeding her appetite by savoring in fine dining but satiating her adventurous taste by taking pleasure in simple street foods as well. Music fed her pulse, truly allowing it to enhance her emotions, and giving her ways to express herself through singing and dancing. Her sense of style was treated as art, where her fashion always remained effortlessly on trend. She had a soft spot for cuddly animals, and was especially devoted to her dogs. They never failed to touch her heart and bring her smiles. Tina also had a very special bond with her niece Kenna, with whom she shared many joyful moments, from playing video games to spontaneous adventures. Tina’s favorite color was orange, a fitting reflection of her personality—warm, vibrant, and always reminiscent of sunsets that felt like a perfect goodbye to the day.
A proud and accomplished Human Resource Director, Tina poured her heart into her work and was deeply respected by colleagues for her professionalism, compassion, and humor. In her personal life, she was extremely close to her sisters and friends – whose hearts were tied to hers by being her confidantes, biggest supporters, and cornerstones to her beautiful life. Tina’s sharp humor and quick wit made her a master of banter. She left behind a legacy of unforgettable memories with everyone who had the special chance of knowing her. She lived with intention, grace, and a healthy dose of sass, never afraid to be bold or true to herself.
She is survived by her older sisters Ann Tran and Lisa Tran, her twin sister Sara Tran, her precious niece Kenna Tran, and her half-brothers Hoang Tran and Giang Tran. She also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family—loving aunts, uncles, and cousins—as well as her chosen family, the Wojtowicz, who lovingly gave their support after the loss of her parents. Tina’s many friends and colleagues also mourn her passing, remembering her for the light and laughter she brought into their lives. She truly had a positive impact on those who were lucky enough to get to know her.
