Carolyn Bell Porter

She was born August 13, 1955 in Marshall, Virginia to the late Robert Hill and Elnora Bell. She married the love of her life Thomas “Abe” Porter on November 19, 1994 in Front Royal. From this union they brought to this world one loving daughter, Tanika Porter. Together they raised a loving family.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at Salem Baptist Church in Marshall, Virginia. She was part of the last class to attend the Historical #18 School in Marshall, Virginia and graduated from Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia. Carolyn’s true joys in life included spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bud” Hill and Elnora “Tiny” Bell, her brother, Larry E. Bell, her grandmother, Eleanor E. Bell and her grandson JaSean Mathlek Whiting. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 20 Years, Thomas “Abe” Porter; her daughter, Tanika Porter; her grandson, Jahrel Whiting; her sister Phyllis Grant; her brother, Buddre “Cory” Hill; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
