Gladys Ileene Jenkins

A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home with Reverend Becky Pucher officiating. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Jenkins was born in Warren County on July 10, 1923 a daughter of the late Thomas Jackson and Mary Grove Knight. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her son, Carroll William Jenkins and companion, Christine Foster of Front Royal; her daughters, Frances Thompson and husband Richard of Middletown, Mary Rowe, and Patricia Tharpe both of Front Royal; her sister, Margaret Morris and husband Ermand of Front Royal; and her grandsons, Jim Johnson, Richard Thompson, Jr., Leonard Weaver, and Eward Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Jack Jenkins; her brothers; several sisters; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Kuser.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jack Weaver, Lake Hensley, David Hensley, Russell Henry, Mikey Gue, and Ronnie Gue.
