Jasean Mathlek Whiting

JaSean was born March 12, 2002 in Charlottesville to Tanika A. Porter and Jason M. Whiting. He was educated in the Warren County school system. He attended the preschool at Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary and continued his education K-4th at E. Wilson Morrison Elementary. JaSean loved music, he liked to dance, loved the Wiggles and was a huge Redskins fan. He was a happy, friendly little boy who touched the hearts of a lot of people. He was loved by everyone he met and to know him was to love him.

JaSean leaves to mourn, his mother, Tanika A. Porter; his father, Jason M. Whiting; two brothers, Jahrel Whiting of Front Royal, and Damien Demers; his sister, Sierra Demers; his maternal grandparents, Carolyn and Thomas (Abe) Porter of Front Royal; paternal grand mother, Linda Minor of Winchester; and a host of family and friends. Rest in peace JaSean, we love you and will miss you every day.

Family will receive friends at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend James W. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Morris Community Cemetery in Hume.
