Maggie was a lifelong Christian who gave her life to the Lord at a young age. You could find Maggie at St. Paul Baptist Church every 2nd and 4th Sunday doing what she did best, praising the Lord. In Maggie’s spare time you would catch her listening to her all time favorite Al Green “Let’s Stop Together” and cooking. She was a 10 year employee of the Days Inn in Winchester until her health failed in October 2006.
Maggie leaves to mourn four loving daughters, Joyce K. Tigney, Janice E. Starks, Jacqueline L. Diamond, and Yolanda W. Ashby; three brothers, Preston Tigney, John Tigney, Timothy Tigney; six sisters, Caroline Robinson, Mabel Butler, Eleanor and Elsie Tigney, Anna Williams and Mary Gallatin; twelve grandkids; eight great-grandkids; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her brother, Charles Tigney preceded her in death.
Maggie will be greatly missed by many. Until we meet again.
