

She was born August 17, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa to John and Leone (Atkinson) Coates. She attended all schools there and graduated from Central High in 1954.
Barb married George J. Barrett in 1957. He preceded her in death in February 1970. She married William “Bill” Kingsley on May 12, 1972 in Sioux City where they lived until moving to Loveland in September 1977. They both received Christ as their Lord and Savior on January 5, 1978. Their relationship with the Lord was the foundation for their marriage and life.
Barb was a homemaker and loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma to those who called her ‘Mimi’.
Barb is survived by her husband, Bill Kingsley, son Brad (Annette) Barrett of Ames, Iowa, daughter Jamie (Mike) Koenig of Loveland, daughter Samantha (Kevin) Boyce of Loveland, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 on the way.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy (Barrett) Miller September 14, 1995, her parents, and two sisters, Marcia Jacobson and Beverly Muir.
Services to be held Friday, April 4th at 10:30am at Resthaven Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 8426 South Highway 287, Fort Collins, Colorado 80525. Fellowship and a light luncheon will follow the service.
