Bertha “Bertie” Rodarmel, 94, of LaPorte CO. passed away February 13, 2018. She was born in Wakeeney KS. to Frank and Elizabeth Gaschler. She was the 13th child of a family of 13. She met the love of her life, Lonnie Rodarmel, in grade school. After marriage, they moved to Colorado and opened Lon’s Barber Shop. She was a homemaker that enjoyed working on the family farm. When time allowed, she enjoyed playing piano & the accordion, canning, playing cards and polka dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002. While living in Bellvue most of her life, the last few years were spent in Cheyenne under the loving care of her daughter Ola.
She is survived by her 5 children and their families: Ora & Allen Roberts of Millcreek WA. Ola Rodarmel of Cheyenne WY. Len Rodarmel of LaPorte CO. Ken & Sandy Rodarmel of Bellvue CO. and their children Brianna and Nathan. Dan & Stormy Rodarmel of Fort Collins CO. and Dan’s children Dustin, Abram and Devin. Graveside service will be held Monday, February 19 at 10:00 am at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Fort Collins, CO.
