Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Eunice Lange, and her brother, Michael Lange. She is survived by her husband, Robert Alexander, daughter Gwen Quiroga, and granddaughters Isabella and Sofia Quiroga.
Beth married Gary Butcher in 1974 and later divorced. They lived in many locations in Colorado before finally settling in Timnath in the late 1980s. Beth met Robert (Bob) Alexander in 1999 and they married in 2018. She retired in 2011 after a long career with the Poudre School District (PSD) as an Office Manager and tutor. While with PSD, she earned the Association of Classified Employees Employee of the Year award in 2011. An avid supporter of the collector car hobby, she retired in 2018 from the GTO Association of America (GTOAA) after 28 years of service as a Board Member, Secretary/Treasurer, Magazine Editor, Convention Registration Coordinator and Convention Treasurer.
Beth loved spending time with Gwen and her grandchildren, collecting and driving Pontiac GTOs, especially her very rare 1970 Sierra Yellow GTO Judge, tending to her flower gardens, spending time at her cabin near Westcliffe, Colorado, river cruising in Europe with Bob, staying in touch with her local and high school friends, and volunteering to remove noxious weeds in Old Town Timnath, and she loved animals, especially dogs. Paintings of several of her dogs are prominently displayed in her home.
Her beautiful smile, loving, friendly demeanor and her helpful, unselfish nature will be greatly missed by her family and her friends both in the local and area and all over the United States.
Cremation has been conducted. Celebrations of Beth’s life will be held in the spring, when the flowers are in bloom, and in July, at the GTOAA’s annual convention in Loveland, Colorado.
