Clara Mae Gaucher

Clara Mae Gaucher 12/18/1933. Passed away peacefully April 23, 2026. 92 years. Survived by her loving daughters Eileen and Rose. Mom was born in Roan’s Prairie, Texas to Josephine and John Uilkie. She was one of 7 children. She met our dad, Air Force Lt. Robert Gaucher, on a blind date. They married a few months later - then they were off to England. That’s where Tom, Brian and Eileen were born. Rose was born in Mississippi, Paul in Texas and Stephen in North Dakota Military life!

The whole family moved to Fort Collins with our fathers retirement from the military. Mom was a loving, devoted wife and mother. Her greatest joy was her family. Mom loved her home and was so proud of her big vegetable garden and beautiful flower beds. She was very active in her church, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton where she and my dad developed the marriage prep classes that are still used today. She was a devout catholic.

She started her Shaklee business as a way to improve her and her family’s health and wellness. A journey she found satisfying and fulfilling. She was strong, loving, determined, and as the family knows, stubborn.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Eileen Walker and Rose Gaucher

Grandchildren: Whitney Whitehead, Ben Walker, Adam Walker, Marshall Gaucher

Great Grandchildren: Riley and Paige Whitehead, Rader and Brennen Walker, Joaquin and Ezequiel Walker

Son-in-law Danny Walker

Daughter-in-laws, Tammy Gaucher and Nancy Gaucher

Sisters: Monica Weaver, Pat Womack

She is preceded in death by her cherished husband Bob Gaucher Her son’s, Tom, Brian, Paul, Stephen and her grandson Nick Gaucher.

A Rosary will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 5450 S. Lemay Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado 80525, on April 27, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 5450 S. Lemay Ave., Fort Collins, Colorado 80525, on April 27, 2026, at 10:30 am.

A Committal Service will take place at Grandview Cemetery, 1900 W Mountain Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80521, US, on April 28, 2026, at 11:00 am.
