Clarene Marie Bidell

Clarene was born to Sherwin Webster Dawson and Maxine Ione Dawson on May 25, 1931 in Winter Harbor, Maine.

On June 12, 1950, Clarene married Paul Edward Bidell. Throughout her life, Clarene was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She served as a Campfire Leader and worked as a school cafeteria server and was a caregiver for 32 years. In her free time, Clarene enjoyed knitting, bowling, camping, cooking, dancing with Paul, and going on family outings.

Clarene is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Bidell; brothers Neil and Vincent Bickford; and sisters Leta Sanborn and Leona Rector. She is survived by her children: Wayne Bidell of Grand Island, NY, Ray (DonnaLee) Bidell of Grand Island, NY, Darlene (David) Shirley of Wellington, CO, Denise (Gary) Martin of Canyon Country, CA, and Paul Bidell of Tonawanda, NY; grandchildren: Katie (Sean) Round of NY, Makayla (AJ) Johnson of NC, Andrew (Tess) Martin of CA, James Martin of WI; great-grandchildren: Sage Round, William and Michael Johnson, Melissa Smith, Van Martin; her sister Janice Wood; and her beloved dog Chloe.

A celebration of life and reception for Clarene will be held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Allnutt Funeral Service – Drake Road Chapel, 650 W. Drake Rd., Ft. Collins, Colorado 80526. A burial will occur Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Highlands Cemetery, 9192 NE Frontage Road, Wellington, CO 80549.

Clarene will be dearly missed by many friends and family.
