Elizabeth (Ena) Beckman

Elizabeth was born to Cuthbert "Bert" and Mariah "Mae" Rae on November 7th, 1946 in Hillside, Scotland. On August 31, 1968, she married Philip Beckman, an American Sailor on assignment in the United Kingdom. They wed in Edzell, Scotland. Elizabeth and Philip were blessed with two wonderful children, Craig and Allyson.

Prior to her marriage, Elizabeth worked as a telephone operator in Scotland. She later worked in customer service as well as being a full-time mother to her children. After almost two decades living in the UK, Elizabeth and Philip moved to Windsor in 2013. They continued to make numerous yearly trips to Elizabeth's home in Scotland.

Elizabeth enjoyed traveling to multiple countries with her family during Philip's 28-year military career. She was very gregarious and enjoyed meeting and interacting with new people. She had a lovely way about her. Elizabeth was a loving wife and mother, treasured daughter and sister, and dear friend. She will truly be missed.

Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Philip Beckman; children, Craig Beckman and Allyson Beckman; and by her sister, Isobel Moats. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bert & Mae Rae. No services are planned at this time. Elizabeth's family will return her ashes to Scotland, where she wished to be scattered.
