Eugene B. Ferguson

Eugene B. Ferguson of Fort Collins passed away May 11, 2008 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland. Eugene was born on January 27, 1933 in Dana, Iowa to Alvah Monte and Carolina Louise (Grivey) Ferguson. On October 17, 1953, he married Marilyn Moylan. Eugene is survived by his wife, Marilyn; and his six children, Steve Ferguson and wife Lisa of Loveland, Debie Vincent and husband Jim of Brighton, Kevin Ferguson of Fort Collins, Kirk Ferguson and wife Bobbie of Johnstown, Kelly Ferguson of Fort Collins, and Lance Ferguson and wife Jen of Brighton. He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Jeremy, Josh, Eric and his wife Raqual, Alan and his wife Erin, Ryan, Ashely, Kayla, Hannah, and Brendan. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Esperanza and Aubryn, and a sister, Viola Miller of Abbottsford, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Dean Ferguson, Elva Dusenbery, Lula Hayez, Merle Ferguson, and Donald Ferguson.A memorial servicewill be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Blessed John the XXIII University Center, with a luncheon to follow. Inurnment will be held in the Willow Cemetery in Greene County Iowa at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
