Gary moved his family to Dillon Colorado in 1977 where he obtained his dream, and opened the Village Inn Pancake House franchise in Silverthorne, CO. Living in the beautiful Colorado mountains afforded him to share his love of the outdoors with his family, and building memories of camping trips, fishing, hunting, boating and water and snow sports, are memories we will treasure forever.
Family was the most important thing in Gary’s life, followed by his friends. He could make a new friend anywhere he went, due to his caring and outgoing personality. He was always willing to help those in need, whether it be his mechanical skills, building or tearing down projects, or by just being there for a shoulder to lean on. He was one of the most generous people we know, and his absence from our lives will be greatly missed.
