Helen Hazel Job

Helen Engel Job was born September 5, 1942 in Miller, SD to George Engel Jr. and Lorene Gimbel. She married Gerald Job on April 14, 1961 in Balta, ND. Helen was a stay at home mom until 1979. Then, she was Project Director for Wells Sheridan County Senior Citizen until 1992. After that, she sold insurance through telemarketing. Finally, she was a CNA at St. Aloysius Hospital until medically retiring.

Jerry and Helen lived and farmed north east of Harvey, ND for 46 years until 2009. Then moved to Colorado where she lived the rest of her days.

Helen enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, house plants, crafts, and above all, Bingo. She would go 3 - 4 times a week with her lady friends and frequented a casino now and then between ND and CO.

Surviving Helen is her husband Jerry of 63 years; children, Michael (Shantell) of Bismarck, ND., Jerry Jr. (Jasmine) of Fargo, ND., and three estranged children; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Betty; brother, Loren; sisters in law, Marri and Dianne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgene; brother, Clayton; brother in law, Chad, Rick, Milford.

A visitation for Helen will be held on September 6, 2024 at 9:30 am followed by a service starting at 11:00 am at Allnutt Funeral Service - Drake Chapel, 650 W. Drake Rd. Fort Collins, CO 80526. The family invites everyone to a light luncheon taking place after the service.
