

James Truman King, 90, of Fort Collins passed away March 10 th , 2016 in Loveland, Co. Jim was born January 8, 1926 in Orr, Oklahoma to James M. and Louise (Brawley) King. He moved to Hatch, New Mexico with his family at the age of 10 and at the age of 17 he joined the U.S. Navy serving from January 11, 1944 to May 16, 1946. After his service Jim moved to Springer, New Mexico, where he met his wife of 67 years, Ramona Jolly. They lived in Hatch, New Mexico and moved to Brighton, Colorado in 1963. They moved to Fort Collins in 1972. Jim worked at Interstate United Vending in Denver and Fort Collins. He was also a custodian for C.S.U.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Ramona, children Johnny (Janice) King, Fort Lupton, Patricia (Ron)
Schlatter, Loveland, Jimmy (Bonnie) King, Brighton, and Paul (Holly) King, Port Haddock, WA. He was blessed with 7 grandchildren and numerous great and great‐great grandchildren.
Visitation 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services 11:00 am,
Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Internment at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Reception to
follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Derby Hill Baptist Church in Loveland. Donations will be accepted at Resthaven Funeral Home and Memory Gardens through the month of March.
