John A. Carter, 47, passed away Friday evening, Sept. 24, 2010 after a three year battle with leukemia. He was born July 18, 1963, in La Mesa, California. John died peacefully at home in the warm and caring presence of his family. He will be remembered lovingly by his wife Tracy, son David and daughter Sarah. He was the son of Robert Carter (Barbara) of El Cajon, CA and Melinda Turcsanyi (Jon) of Lafayette, CO. He also leaves a devoted brother, Kim and two beloved sisters; Christene and Kathryn along with countless friends and family who will forever miss the joy of his presence. John worked at Group Publishing in Loveland, Colorado for the past ten years where he will be remembered for his leadership, compassion and infectious humor.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Crossroads Church, 5420 N. Taft Ave. Loveland, Colorado.In lieu of flowers, John requests that donations be made in his name to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to The John A. Carter Memorial Fund in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, Colorado.
