Lee Ann Crane Rae

Lee Ann was born in Boulder, CO on December 22, 1962 to parents Dennis and Sandra Forman Crane. She graduated from Valley High School in Platteville, CO and went on to attend Aims Community College. Lee Ann was an honor student in high school and participated in the University of Northern Colorado’s model United Nations program.

Lee Ann raised dairy goats during her growing up years and she loved all animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed visiting her sister-in-law’s farm, especially spending some time with the goats!

Lee Ann moved to the Fort Collins area in 2013. Lee Ann married the love of her life, William Rae on August 8, 2015.

Lee Ann was an extremely talented knitter and jewelry maker. She also loved reading, playing Magic the Gathering, and watching TV shows like Dr. Who and Jeopardy.

She worked at Tenere in Westminster, CO.

Lee Ann is survived by her father, Dennis Crane from Yuma, AZ and her Aunt Karen Hicks from Erie, CO, her dear friends Teresa and Ray Luthye, and William’s brothers John Rae and family, Jim Rae and family, his sister Bev McBride and family. Lee Ann leaves behind many good friends and co-workers.

Lee Ann was preceded in death by her husband William and her mother Sandra.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 at Timnath Presbyterian Church, 4020 Main Street, Timnath, CO. Lee Ann loved the Denver Broncos, please wear Bronco attire or favorite sports attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in the name of Lee Ann Crane Rae.

Lee Ann will be remembered for her great sense of humor, gentle nature, and compassionate spirit. She will live in our hearts forever.
