Ira, I am so sorry for your loss.  It made me sad to see her obituary in the paper. She was a very nice person and had the best handwriting,especially for her age. In case you do not remember me I used to carry your mail a couple of years ago.

Cheryl, I'm so sorry about your Mom's death.  She was a great lady and I'm so glad I was able to know her.  I think of you guys often and will pray that God gives you added strength at this time. Greetings,I was thrilled to see a picture of Lillian on this website with the funeral home.  She was a very special lady and though I haven't seen her recently, she and Ira were always a wonderful example to me when I was younger as to living a faithful Christian life and I really thought a lot of them.  Hergraduation to Heaven gives cause to be happy for her but a hole is left here.  I pray you are guided through the days ahead as you adjust and God will see you through. Dearest Cheryl,   Although I did not know your mother personally I do remember the times she was a part of my life while a student at MSE and when we attended NYR. I remember her infectious laugh and the twinkle in her eye. I've heard so much about her over the years....about what a gracious hostess she was and how devoted she was to your father. I know you must miss her so much but I'm sure you have that assurance that she is waiting for you all.....standing next to Jesus!    Even though I am very far away I send my love and hugs to you and the family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  What I remember most about Lillian, is the way she made us laugh -- even though I don't think she knew she was being funny.  I remember many road trips to camps and rallies with both of you.  She will be missed dearly -- but we have the promise of seeing her again some day.  Lillian was a very godly woman and a great example to many.  I love you and will be praying for you!

Ira, Cheryl, Jim, Dave and families,We were very saddened to hear of the loss of Lillian to you this week here on earth, but may it be a comfort to you that she is now waiting with the Lord to be with you for eternity.  Our memories went back yesterday to all the holidays we spent together with you, Lillian,and both our parents - it was  great to have so many ""grandparents"" for our children to spend time with - and what a great cook Lillian was! Grandkids will miss her coupon clipping - and a host of other things she did to make them feel special throughout their lives.  You have both been truly used of God to bless many lives - and we will pray for you all as begin another chapter in life's journey.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you as you grieve for your wife and mother.  What a blessing she was to so many. I have many wonderful memories of our fellowship together in Nebraska.
