Lynn S. Fisher

Lynn grew up in Fort Collins, he graduated from Cache LaPoudre High School in 1941. Lynn honorably served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater building airstrips from Feb 1943 to Nov 1945. In 1948 he met Helen Nein on a blind date and they were married April 15, 1950. Lynn worked bailing hay with his brother Johnny. He then worked for Forneys and Kiefer Concrete before spending 20 years as a machinist at Woodward Governor. He retired in 1985. Lynn and Helen had 2 children Gary and Deanne both of Fort Collins. Lynn enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He could fix just about anything and over the years he restored 3 Chevy Corvairs. Lynn and Helen did some traveling to his high school and WWII reunions.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; their children, Deanne (Jason) Ballard and Gary Fisher; one brother, Bruce (Lavilda) Fisher.

Visitation will be held 4-8 pm Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Thursday at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or charity of choice in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S. Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
