Born on March 20th, 1932, Marianne Lehl was raised in the Loveland area by her parents, Orble and Mary (Seader) Lehl. She graduated from Loveland High School in 1950 and married Edward "Keith" K. Smith shortly after graduation.
Marianne worked in retail for many years at Montgomery Ward and Denver Dry Goods, achieving the position of buyer for ladies wear and traveling to New York several times a year to purchase merchandise for the Denver store. In the late 1960s she moved to California where she trained and worked as a medical respiratory technician. She later moved to Reno, Nevada and continued in the medical field until her retirement. In 2019 she moved back to Loveland.
She is survived by a brother, Vern Lehl (Alice) of Englewood, CO, and a sister, Leorra Frank (Roy) of Wellington, CO, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, George Lehl, and a sister, Janet "Jan" Lehl.
