She was born on October, 26 1933 in Joliet, IL. She was the daughter of Edward and Bessie Blatt of Elwood, IL.
Marilyn graduated in 1951 from Joliet Township High School. Following graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Edward E. Schweizer of Elwood, IL. The couple lived in Boston, Rhode Island, and Mississippi before settling down in Fort Collins in 1965.
Marilyn loved spending time with family and friends, but especially enjoyed spending time at their mountain property and at their second home on Table Rock Lake in Blue Eye, MO where she water skied until she was 80 years old. Marilyn spoiled all her dogs and loved them all dearly, especially her sweet Molly.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister-in-law, and her sister, Bonnie Ward. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, her son Ed, her daughter Soozy Fredrickson (Dan), 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
