He was born in Keene, NH, on August 12, 1972, son of Robert Chaput and Ellen Thompson. A loving husband to Shelley Chaput and devoted father to Kayla Chaput. He is also survived by his sister, Carol Rakosnik, and brother, David Chaput.
What Mark cared about most in life were his people. If you were his people, he had your back, no matter what. There was no one more fiercely loyal, more loving or more committed to his family, friends and extended work family. Mark was most proud of his daughter, making a home, and his accomplished career. He was happiest at home, with his family and friends, listening to AC/DC, drinking a smooth bourbon, and feeding all of his people, especially on the holidays (Thanksgiving was his favorite).
The family is especially grateful to the Pathways Hospice Center for providing such care, love and dignity in his final days. Donations can be made, in memory of Mark Chaput, to Glioblastoma Foundation at glioblastomafoundation.org or at P.O. Box 62066, Durham, NC 27715.
