Meda Jean Middleton Doty left this world on April 22, 2022. Born October 30, 1934 in Rockford, Illinois, Meda was the daughter of William and Wilma (Cowsert) Middleton. She briefly attended East High School and graduated from Harlem High School in 1952. She lived half of her life in Loves Park before relocating to Loveland, Colorado in 1978. She loved being with her family and after retiring from the Federal Government, Meda and her son Mark would take daily, aimless road-trips enjoying the beautiful Colorado scenery, with cigarettes, a Starbucks, and her dog Snickers in tow. Meda was very proud of her five children.
She is survived by four children, Marla Stickler (Allen) Eckerle (Texas), Sheila Stickler (Doug) Crumrine (Colorado), Jeffery (Barb) Doty (Alaska), and Andrew Doty (California); ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and expecting another great and her first great great grandchild this fall; her sister, Lily (Mike) Barney (Florida); sister-in-law, Sue Middleton (Illinois); and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her loving son, Mark; her parents, William and Wilma; and siblings, Bill, Coya, Lee, Kay, and Leda.
Meda will be peacefully resting next to her son with a beautiful view of the mountains in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
