Mika was someone i used to hang out with alot of the time at school and we had so many jokes with each other and i still text him telling him everything. the last thing he said to me was good luck senior year🫶. and for that ill be graduating high school with him in my mind. he reminds me hes around all the time and im happy hes watching over me

I vaguely knew Mika in high school, though we didn’t have much time to interact since I was a senior and he was a freshman. At this point, years later, I was surprised to find out we ended up at the same college in very similar fields of study, and I wish I’d had the chance to get to know him - though, from what I've heard throughout the years from those closer to him, it is clear as day that he was such an amazing person and friend. I've always heard such wonderful things about him from others; he will be deeply missed, and will forever be a CSU ram. 💚

As an alum of CSU, I wanted to express my sincere condolences to Mika’s friends and family. I know I am not alone when I say that the community of CSU and Fort Collins send our love and share the pain of your loss. Mika will forever be a CSU Ram and part of the Ramily❤️

Only a few memories of Mika, but hundreds of memories of the family. As a high school classmate of his grandpa I often felt adopted by all of them. Picnics, parties and holidays and they all reached out to me and my wife to be included. Even though I was loud and goofy the family was so accepting. I know Mika had to have so much support! Our sympathies are extended to each and everyone who knew and loved Mika. We all may not understand, but we all certainly do extend our love and sorrow to each of you.

Mika was a beautiful soul. We had met in our psychology class and had hung out outside of class, and the time I had spent with him, he was always so sweet and so kind and always there for others. He always had a smile on his face that lit up the room. He was always such a warm soul, and I have nothing  but fond memories with him. You will be missed, Mika. Goodbye. 🩷

Mika, was one of the most outgoing funny and kind people I have ever met. He always made me laugh or smile. And while I did not know him well i knew enough to know that i would have loved to see more. Mika I will miss your smile and the light you brought, but i think i will miss you making me laugh most of all. Good bye you will be missed.

This was me, Mika, his brother and cousin right before homecoming. Such a fun memory, thinking of Tyler and Caroline during this time. I loved getting to get to know his family, Mika always made me feel so safe and welcome.

i’m so glad i had the pleasure of meeting mika in elementary school, we were friends for 10 ish years. i’ll never forget him. i was there for him through everything, as he was there for me. i’ll always have so much love for him, he was always so funny. i hate that he moved away, i never got to see him after that. i wish i could’ve seen him one more time. i know he’s resting easy now. <3

Mika always had the brightest smile in the room.  Glad to know he’s at peace.  The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living. <3

there’s so many good memories i have of mika and i’m not sure if i could even pick one. you were one of my fav people sophmore year, even tho we grew out of eachother. you were such a joy to talk to no matter the time or if the conversation was even interesting. if i had to narrow it down, i’d save my favorite memory with mika was when we stole him from whoever he was with at Briarfest just so we could get on a ride with an equal amount of people and you ended up being with us the whole rest of the night. even creating an inside joke of Jolly! but even i can’t remember what it came from. i miss you already mika, i wish you knew how much of an impact you made on so many people, love you. even though you’re in such a better place now, i’m gonna miss our gossiping and your laugh. fly high mika <3

My favorite memory with Mika (although there are many), was the day Mika, a mutual friend, and myself all skipped our second period class to go to a city nearly half hour away. We looked at rock shops (all of us eager to make a purchase), walked around, and then stopped to get coffee and donuts. I was short a dollar for coffee, and Mika bought it for me.
  I will forever cherish every memory I have of him, but this one is among my favorites. I miss you, Mika. Rest easy.

I had just met Mika in Psych 100. Mika was such a kind soul to be taken from us. Seeing Mika around campus was always the best part of a day. And you got taken from us too soon. You never got to see CSU in winter. Fly high Mika.

One day Mika & I decided to hang out together at Clement park when a furmeet got cancled. I had so much fun that day, it's one of my favorite memories of him that I'll cherish forever. We went to I-hop & had the time of our lives talking to each other. We suited at the park & had so many funny interactions with each other and other people. That day I met his dad (he was so sweet) he looks pictures of us in suit. I really wish I couldve gotten to know Mika & his family more. Mika saved my life & I can't thank him enough. I'll miss seeing him at the furmeets. He was so special & important to me, I'm so glad I got to meet him when I did

For my 18th birthday we went to Meow Wolf. We had a lot of fun together, and afterwards we went to the mall and bought plushies together. I miss that day.

I love Mika so much. He meant the absolute world to me. In everything I did, I just thought about him. Everything reminded me of him and my love for him. He was such a kind and caring soul. I loved every adventure we went on, whether it was the drives we'd take, the trip we had to Denfur, the furmeets we went to, the time we went to IKEA together, he meant everything to me. He'd always like my stories and notes, and he'd seem so happy while messaging me. I love him more than life itself and that will never change. I hope you're in a better place now Mika.

Another memory of Mika I have. We would sit at lunch with our little friend group and joke with us.

This was when Mika and I first met. He took me to subway and we became good friends after that.

Mika was such an amazing person. He loved so much. He had a beautiful soul. He left us too soon. There will forever be a hole in my heart💔

I knew Mika since freshman year but I never gave them a chance. He had such a beautiful smile with such and nice, funny, and outgoing personality and it’s been crushing my soul that I didn’t give him a chance. Mika, I wish you could see how loved you were by many and I wish this didn’t happen. I wish it was all a nightmare and you were still here so we could show you how much we care and love you but now it’s too late. You’ll never be forgotten, and you mean so much to me. I’m so sorry I didn’t give you a chance.

The last time I saw Mika was when we saw Mitski together. I will forever cherish everything we have ever done together. Im so glad god gave me you Mika.

Mika was a very bright soul. His laugh was infectious and he lit up every room he walked in.  I hope he knew how loved he was.

I had the pleasure of having Mika as one of my students at CSU.  He and I often spoke before or after class about various topics.  Mika brought a fun energy to class and will be missed.  My deepest sympathies to Mika's family and friends.
